CCCP: Operational Art

Here is a link to an article on the FoW website on Soviet doctrine. Its as good a write-up as I’ve seen on the myths surrounding Soviet military thinking. In any event there is an excellent discussion there on the differences between tactics, operations, and strategy in general, and the Soviet understanding of those terms in particular. Hope this gives some ideas for your approach to maneuver in BE. I would have copied the whole thing direct, but there is a 15,000 word limit to posts here.
