Wow. Getting hit by Chains of Fate before a fight really blows. Two of us are just sitting here with our thumbs up our asses during the conflict PLUS two more turns. Fun.
We used it on a bugbear to great effect.
I’m sure it’s great when used by the party against enemies. The other way around? Not so fun. But everything worked out. Can’t win every test.
Defending against it is a good time to tap your Nature!
Not easy to do at the end of a long session with no points to spend.
