Defensive Stance, +2D to the auto-Block?

I’m switching to defensive stance, which counts as a Block. Do I get the +2D to blocks from my defensive stance, or does that only apply to subsequent actions?

Stands to reason, but I couldn’t find anything that said either way.

you’re not in Def stance until after that action is complete. Therefore, you don’t get the bonus.
