Do you start with the “Born” path or do you start with the lifepath after that? I initially thought you didn’t count born, but when I was showing some folks BWG last night they were asking which they started from.

As I understand it, your first life path has to be a ‘Born’ path, and it counts.
You definitely count the “Born” lifepath. The sample character in the book is given a three-lifepath limit, and the player chooses three lifepaths exactly, including the Born lifepath. The reason is that the Born lifepath provides years, resource points, skill points, and trait points just like the others.
