Sword has advantage, and is positioning against a spear-wielder. The table says that’s +2D… is that correct? The structure of the table makes it look like that should be +1D. Or is there some special bonus for long weapons against longest weapons?
I’d also like to know why the table symmetry is broken (if it isn’t an error).
Correct, Swords with advantage get +2D to positioning against a longest weapon like a spear. Essentially, you’re inside the spear-fighter’s reach and you’re exploiting that advantage to the best of your ability.
