A player is spending 3 weeks and 4 days, cruising around the city of Manningbridge, trying to get familiar with the city. The player wants to earn tests towards opening Manningbridge-wise.
Is it legal to use practice to earn aptitude tests towards opening a skill? If so, how does it work?
Yes, except that for some (Sorcerous/special) skills the first check must be taught, and can’t be learned by practice or Beginner’s Luck
The checks are earned as routines, Wises are Special skills (I think) so IIRC 3 months of practice for a Cycle.
