Can a 3rd level elf use a C2 scroll even if she didn’t take a spell slot as her advancement ability?
I’m thinking, no.
Casting from a scroll requires you to be able to cast spells of the same circle. So if the elf can’t cast second circle spells, then she can’t cast from 2nd circle scrolls.
But Elves are inherently magical and also cheat, so I thought I’d ask.
Jeremiah is correct. If your character can’t learn a spell of that Circle, he can’t cast it from a scroll either.
