So is the reason there are teams of 3 instead of 4 or more because the dice granted by helping would get out of hand. And when another team helps another team is it just one dice, or one per each participant?
Teams of three fit neatly in the three-action structure. You can use teams of four if you need to, but one player waits while everyone else takes a turn.
And yes, teams only grant one die, not one die per helper.
