Human with 13 mental stat points

As a human it is relatively easy to get 13 mental stat points (age in the 30’s for 7 base, plus six +1 M lifepaths), to split between only two stats.

The normal starting maximum is 6, although the human maximum is higher.

Can the character start with 6 in one and 7 in the other, or is the extra point simply lost?

As it says on p. 134, Humans may not begin the game with stats higher than 6.

For PCs, the extra points are lost. NPC FONs don’t have to obey the cap.
