Hypo-theoretically

Regarding the whole map scale thing – it seems that different groups are getting an enjoyable play experience by setting the scale to be what their game/story demands. I agree that there should be some clarification (based on the fact that there seems to be a lot of questions about the map’s scale on these forums), but I’m not sure that directly updating the map to include or indicate a scale is the right solution.

Perhaps having some text within the Territories section of the book that indicates that the map’s scale is intentionally left to the discretion of the GM, with a few suggestions as to which scales might work for various campaign styles, might be a better approach.

Are the double-tie rules still the same as in the first printing (i.e., null-result on the second tie)?
