Say I have a teacher with a B4 Sword. She may give me tests between Ob 0 and Ob 4 when using Instruction. I assume if I have, say, B4 Sword myself but a -1D wound penalty for a couple weeks during instruction, if she gives me an Ob 4 test it will register as Challenging rather than Difficult. But what if I have a +1 Ob penalty for those weeks? Will her Ob 4 test be turned into essentially Ob 5 when I have B4 skill, thus becoming challenging?

I would say so, although it’s a little odd not to need as skilled a teacher when you are skilled but impaired.
