Learning from Books?

Wasn’t there a rule about characters learning from books? Adbu? Mabu?

I can’t find it. Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

You’re thinking of the Instructions rule from page 40 of Burning Wheel Revised. I don’t think they made the jump to BWG. You could hack them in without any problems, I think.
