Partially inspired by Luke providing some framework here. I’m not an expert on how much a goat was worth in medieval times, so the Resources Obs for these things may need adjusting. The idea of bringing one into a dungeon tickles me though, especially considering even when it outlives its usefulness, it’s still a self-propelled ration sack.
Mules are a trap; ponies will love you forever. Kit and saddlebags sold separately. Nobody sells dogs, just grab one of the healthier looking ones off the street and train it. Anything with Grazing Nature should be able to feed itself in wilderness settings, but if you can get them into a dungeon you’re going to want to load them with provisions or find a good source of water. I really do mean it when I say a goat will eat whatever - I’ve seen goat simulator, I’m certain the game accurately portrays goats as Twist factories.
