Mapping vs. not mapping

How should we handle movement through previously explored but unmapped areas? Will this take up time or possibly cause tests?

It will definitely cost tests, and thus turns, if there are any obstacles or difficulties the players had previously overcome or encountered, but which still pose problems or are dangerous. This is the stuff you get to skip once it’s mapped.

Without a map, movement will also require some more detail and effort than just saying “we go back to that big chamber” – players will need to describe where they go and how they go about it.
