Sorry for the necro - I was planning something similar (as ars magica magic system and lab work rocks)
Simplest conversion would be to use abstractions and distillation from mabu - but to change the elements and impulse to match the ars magica ones…
It will feel somewhat different, but they would be kissing cousins at least
