I don’t know if this is against the rules or not (I can’t see why it would be), but if it is, I apologize.
I’m the type of player that struggles to find good Beliefs and Instincts. So, I thought I might start a running list here to help people like me out. Feel free to add to it. List B&Is you’ve used and those that you’ve come up with but never used in game. I’ll start out with a few:
Beliefs
The beauty of argument is that if you do it right, you’re never wrong.
To gain vengeance for you and yours is not only a right, it’s a duty.
For every injustice served upon me and mine, I will return it ten-fold.
The best way to find out if you can trust someone is to trust them.
Honor knows no birthright.
A rat does not rely on just one hole.
If it wouldn’t make a good story, it isn’t worth doing.
The greatest treasures are guarded by dragons.
Instincts
Always act inferior to those that act superior.
If I see something I want, I steal it.
When I run out of food, hunt for game.
Always stick to the shadows.
Before a fight, I take up a position of advantage.
Never pass up a chance to gamble.
