Does anyone know if you can command a Spirit Servant to push in a fight? Can you command it to act like a body guard if ambushed or caught in a Fight?

Sure, but it should take two actions to command the spirit.

What about giving the servant a general command, like “keep away anyone who gets close to me”? Say you put this as an instinct, could you then use the servant for help in positioning tests?
