It is a hefty little trinket, but sure feels great.
got one too, and had to justify making it a game component somehow. we use it to designate who has the turn. I keep it during the GM’s turn and hold it up when I’m ready for everyone to settle down so I can narrate or force a test. during the players turn, the players pass it around to remind them whose turn it is to spend checks. this is a kid’s gaming group so the ritual helps (somewhat) to focus them in.
what a great idea! I had a GM who used ‘the One Ring’ replica in similar manner.
