Recently I was trying to describe how a Duel of Wits worked to those unfamiliar with the game. This is what information I shared:
The Duel of Wits is that part where the players roll dice and put roleplay to it.
I looked at what I’d written and realised that I’d not described the processes of the Duel at all but instead I’d described a bigger picture. I didn’t talk about choosing actions or bodies of argument.
The important part of the Duel of Wits is the context as given by the game’s framework.
I feel like I knew this already but I’ve just found another way to show it.
