I am still a newbie, & have this CB question which came up in the process ('m pretty much 100% sure’s a yes but I still ask, just in case):

Can affiliation dice make a PC a planetary faction’s leader?

Indeed.

The infection mechanics can, of course, be used to take the faction away from the PC.

You can also have a character be the military or political (and maybe religeous) leader by taking Forge Lord, whatever the Nobility setting governmental top lp is, or Archcotare(sp?) (assuming it exists).
