Torchbearer Play Aids

At Burning Con, people had a Conflict helpsheet, and a GM’s helpsheet, printed PDFs presumably available from around here. Sadly my search-fu has failed, please can some kind person provide me with the link(s).

The pre-production card deck looked great, hope that gets published soon!

There was a bundle of PDFs in my Kickstarter download…

I assume that’s them, I only seem to have grabbed the rules PDF.

If you were part of the Kickstarter campaign, you should be able to log into the BW store and download the updated version of the rules, which has all of the character sheets and play aids with it.

I used some of lizlarsen’s wonderful play aids:

Not sure if it’s in the pages I linked above, but lizlarsen also did a great “How to Play Torchbearer”, available in this thread: http://www.burningwheel.org/forum/showthread.php?13828-Teaching-Describe-To-Live

I’ve got the r22_r2 version, thought that was the latest?

Yeah. The zip file should include all the town and conflict sheets and everything.

Another unofficial play aid is Player and GM Checklist before and after roll.pdf

As a player, I forget to add or subtract dice for a test; as a GM, I miss factors for obstacles.
So I pulled together all the modifiers I could find onto two pages.

For those who missed the announcement: you can now download the official play sheets from the Torchbearer section of the BW store.

And the best thing? The Dread Crypt of Skogenby (which is excellent, by the way) and the Kickstarter bonus classes are also up, free for all, not just for Kickstarter backers.

The mystery is partly solved. I have the zip bundle in my order account*. Still pending. From July…

Is the block at my end or Andy’s?

*It’s actually there three times, don’t ask! :o

Are you looking in the Burning store at “Recent Orders”, or “My Downloadable Products” (off to the left side of the screen)? For some reason, I was expecting to find a working download link in my order, and had a “d’oh!” moment when I realized I was looking in the wrong place.

That got it, thanks!

Glad to help.
