I always avoided BW and its rock-paper-scrissor offsprings but I just read a blogpost about BEs special structure and it got me interested…
…a month later and I am totally into BE. I mean i love its structure (manouvers, scene economy), but not necessary its setting/crunch.
I hacked it a lot. Last week I used it in a student camp to recreate the Spartacus rebellion. I will use it to reboot the Battle of Winterfell at a Con. Probable play thru Winds of Winter. And maybe, just maybe, it could solve my dream project about making Ars Magica work the way I want!
I feel like I am a latecomer and outlier but I definitely feel lucky and blessed that I checked the game out!
