Recon without Hussars

From the Hussar PDF: “They are a technologically advanced mounted recon wing. Normally, such a role is filled by anvil or hammer specialists…” And, as an exerise in filling in the gaps, these are what the non-Hussar Anvil recon types would ride:

Anvil Light Reconnaissance Sled (ALiRS)
Type: Atmospheric Vehicle (Pilot)
Capacity: pilot only
Tech Index: Zero index and higher
Tech Resources: Ob 11
Profile: 1
Integrity: 5
Control: 1D
Signals: Automation 5
Sensors: Automation 5
Ordnance: none
Vehicular Speed: Atmospheric 9
Security: none
Structural Tolerances: Surface, H5. Breach, H10. Damaged, V5. Destroyed, V11.

Increase Signals Automation to 5 (+2 pts)
Increase Sensors Automation to 5 (+2 pts)
Remove Vehicular ordnance (-2 pts)

Anvil Grav Armored Reconnaissance Sled (AGARS)
Type: Atmospheric Vehicle (Pilot)
Capacity: pilot only
Tech Index: Low index and higher
Tech Resources: Ob 15
Profile: 1
Integrity: 5
Control: —
Signals: Automation 5
Sensors: Automation 5
Ordnance: Vehicular 1
Vehicular Speed: Atmospheric 7
Security: none
Structural Tolerances: Surface, H8. Breach, V1. Damaged, V7. Destroyed, V14.

Reduce Profile from 2D to 1D, equivalent to reducing enemy Skill Advantage: Sensors from 2D to 1D (+2 pts)
Increase Vehicular Speed from 6 to 7 (+2 pts)
Increase Signals Automation to 5 (+2 pts)
Increase Sensors Automation to 5 (+2 pts)
Reduce Integrity from 6 to 5, equivalent to reducing Technological Stat: Forte from 6D to 5D (-2 pts)
Remove one Vehicular ordnance mount (-2 pts)
Room for one (-1 pt)
Can’t spare a kilo (-1 pt)

Note that, here and in the Strike Hussar, I have a vehicle with Integrity less than 6 carrying a vehicular-scale weapon, in violation of the rule on pg. 384. Since the Anvil Attack Sled in the book (p. 555) already does exactly the same thing, I think I’m in safe company and that the restriction might be errata.

And they’re on the wiki.
